JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED IT! - PROJECT 04 - Information on the Grid

THIS IS WHAT WILL BE DUE ON TUESDAY, Nov. 22ND
Final will be under glass and ready to present / if you are presenting a multi-page document aka newsletter please have a copy under glass and a copy to pass around to class. Extra credit given to those that bring in the client for critique to present to / or get the client to respond to your final design.

FINAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
If choosing to go the route of the poster - must have a series of 2 posters where the design is related and based on constructional or modular grid. Poster must be the size of the original. Strongest should be under glass and the other included in the job folder.
If choosing the way of the website - must have a home page designed and an interior page designed using the grid of established on the homepage. Website must be the standard web size. Please print and have both under glass. Standard webpage should fit easily to a 8.5x11 size page.
If choosing the path of the newsletter - must be a four page newsletter handling the grid in a multi-column format. It will need to be printed out on 11x17 tabloid and be 8.5 x 11 when folded.

2nd newsletter (grid design based on found template) / MUST BE FOUR PAGES LONG AND PRINTED ON A 11X17 FOLDED TO 8.5 X 11. THIS CAN BE IN BLACK AND WHITE OR COLOR. Please print using the spreads option in InDesign. Print spread 2/3 together and then 1/4 together. Print 2/3 together so you can flip. This is important learning experience to figure out printing comps. Might take a couple tries just an FYI.

FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK - Make sure that you do 4 pages of thumbnails with a series of spreads for each page. Think about ways to shoot your collection for your catalog. For research take a look at catalogs that you like (at least 2) and find out what grid they are using.
