ASSIGNMENT 2 - In a land far far away

ASSIGNMENT 2: Postcards / Travel Poster
For this next assignment you will have to do a set a four postcards. These are front and back, full color, 5x7 full bleed cards. They will be held in a slip case that you will make to hold the set. You will also compose a travel poster to match the style of your cards. These will be hung in the hallway in the PAC. The cards will be handed in with the slip case. You have already begun your job folder with assignment two, gathering research and color pallets. For Tuesday next week please have 25 thumbnails done for each of the four cards. You may do a couple thumbs for the back but please concentrate on the front of the card for the thumbs. This is 100 total thumbs for four cards. These need to be finished and in your job folder for Tuesday. I would recommend getting started on roughs over the weekend as they will be due on Thursday the following week. Two roughs will be due for each front of the card. If you are getting started over the weekend on roughs...please go to this website. http://www.modernpostcard.com/products/postcard-5x7 Download the Illustrator version of the template and save to your art folder. You can use this template for the front and the back of the card to get postal code regulations. Again, the only thing that is firmly due for Tuesday next week is the thumbnails but a good start on the roughs is going to help you get some sleep. See you Tuesday.
